My favorite new feature in Media Composer 3.0 isn't terribly sexy. It's the real-time timecode effect plug-in . Burn-in timecode isn't anyone's idea of a good time, but the ability to spit it out in real-time out of the NLE while striking approval dubs...

hola quisiera un poco de ayuda con liquid 7 tengo un p IV de 3 gb, 1gb ram, tres discos de 80 gb ata, board intel gc101, tarjeta grafica nvidia foxconn geforce 8500 GT, 512 mb SLI HDV, estas caracteristicas son las mas indicadas para este producto? 2. me salen y rayas negras en las transiciones cuando renderizo ...como soluciono ese problema , de antemano...

Hey All, I just downloaded the latest version of MC 3.0.1. And now that I have installed it, it tells me... Your system is not licensed to run this version of the software... I had purchased this MC back in May (post march 17, 2008) and when I installed it, it was 2.8.x. Can anyone help me out or at least point me in the right direction? Much Thanks...

Avid is supposedly trying to solve it on their own since Apple will lilkely not address it until the next major 10.5 patch - probably 10.6 Snow Leopard. When? I'm sure it is a top priority (as seen by the latest 3.0.1 patch so customers can use MC 3 at least on Tiger) but I doubt they can give you a firm date.

To clarify, I am putting both Avids on a 4x4 router which will also give me rs-422 control. I will also put onto the sytem a uvw-1800 deck & ajd-455 deck. So both Avids will be able to feed & pull from both the dvcpro deck & beta sp [everything connected so I will never need to pull cables and 2 edit bays that can digitize or record to either...

You could get a router and send the signal to both the deck and the monitor, or you could go into the monitor first, and pass through to the deck. Good luck
